So Long, Yuma!

Well, this week I am saying, "So long" to Yuma! Transfers are Wednesday and I'm headin' out to a new place. This last week was really good. We talked to a couple of really cool people. One couple we talked to was Pedro and Veronica. They are a super awesome couple who are really trying to do the right thing. They have definitely been through some tough times in their lives and I think they are really looking for something more. We also started teaching a guy named Scott, who is an 18 year old kid, and more curious than anything, but he has a strong belief in God and wants to do what is right. It's been awesome to see the people that God puts into our path who are really prepared, people you might not think would be interested in learning about God but when you actually reach out and talk to them you find they have a lot more going on than you thought they would have. Yesterday we were able to talk to a couple of guys who were outside painting their car. At first they weren't interested but then when we were able to help them paint the car they started asking questions and everything, and even accepted a Book of Mormon and an invitation to read and pray about it. Moral of the story? A little service goes a long way.
I hope everything is going well at home. Take care and God bless!
